Driving to and from Illora:

On most trips it is likely that you will be driving in the general direction of Granada, at least initially. We advise driving out of Illora on the new road from the San Rogelio statue in the centre of Illora to the A432 (Cordoba road). This road is very new and easy to drive. Once you reach the A432, turn right towards Pinos Puente and Granada. This route is slightly longer than the alternative but also significantly faster and offers better views.

When returning to Illora from Pinos Puente, drive straight through the town, do not take the right hand turn but continue driving on the A432 in the direction of Cordoba until you pass through Ventas de Algarra. Immediately after this village, you will see the sign for the left turn onto the new road to Illora.

Wenn Sie ein Auto am Flughafen gemietet haben, nehmenSie am Flughafen die Ausfahrtstrasse zur A-92(Malaga-Sevilla). Fahren Sie rechts auf die A-92Richtung Sevilla und nehmen Sie die naechste Ausfahrtin Richtung Chauchina, Fuente Vaqueros, Casa Real undZujaira. An der Kreuzung vor Zujaira, fahren Sie nachlinks durch die Ortschaft von Obeilar. Bald nachObeilar wendet sich die Strasse nach rechts unter einealte Bruecke und Sie werden in Kuerze Illora vor Ihnensehen.

Route using Major Roads:
If you are collecting a hire car at Granada airport, you leave the airport on the exit road towards the A-92 (Malaga-Sevilla). Join the A-92 in the direction of Granada. Leave the A-92 shortly before Santa Fe and drive through Santa Fe now on the A-329. Shortly before the city of Granada, turn left at a major junction onto the A-432 towards Atarfe and Pinos Puente. Just after leaving Pinos Puente, turn right onto a country road marked towards Obeilar and Illora and follow this road through Zujaira and Obeilar. Shortly after Obeilar, the road turns right under an old bridge and you will shortly see Illora ahead of you.

Ankunft in Illora:
Sie kommen nach Illora auf der Hauptstrasse vonGranada (Carretera de Granada). Sie kommen an einemKreisverkehr an. Fahren Sie im Kreisverkehr undsetzten Sie die Fahrt weiter geradeaus zu den Huegelfort(ausgeschildert in Richtung auf Alomartes). DieStrasse biegt sich ringsherum nach links. An dieserStelle ist ein Cafe.Fahren Sie nicht nach linkssondern halten rechts zu einer engen steilen Strasse-Calle de la Carniceria- und Sie kommen direkt an derKirche aus dem 16. Jahrhundert bei Plaza San Rogelioraus. Fahren Sie nach rechts in das Plaza San Rogelioand folgen Sie die Strasse. Sofort nach einem ziemlichmodernen Backsteingebaeude ist Casa Pilar Alto auf derrechten Seite. Es gibt Parkplaetze oben auf diesemHuegel, vor dem Backsteingebaeude und Parkplätze untenbei Carneceria, wo Sie nach Alomartes abgebogen sind.
